PATIENT FORMS
What do I do if I have a dental emergency and the office is closed?
We always have someone available to handle emergencies. In the event of such an emergency, please call our Carrollton office and follow the voice prompts to page Dr. Capua.
My child has had an accident and his/her tooth has been entirely knocked out. What do I do?
If your child has had a tooth knocked out, we may be able to save it. Don’t wash the tooth—put it in a glass of water to keep it moist and contact our office immediately. We will ask you to bring your child into our office immediately.
I have a temporary crown in my mouth. What happens if it comes off or breaks?
If the temporary comes off, place a “dab” of Fixodent or Polygrip in the temporary crown and place it back in the mouth to cover and protect the tooth. Call our office at your earliest convenience. If the temporary breaks, call our office promptly to have another one made because the tooth can be sensitive or can shift position, which means the final porcelain crown may not fit.
If it’s after hours, call our office number to reach us for emergencies.
