A resident of Texas since 1970, Dr. Capua has lived and worked in the North Dallas/Carrollton area since 1991.  She graduated from Baylor College of Dentistry, Dallas , in 1989.  Prior to becoming a dentist, Dr. Capua practiced as a dental hygienist for five years.  She attended the University of Texas at Arlington and the University of North Texas.  She is married with one son and enjoys traveling, museums, music, skiing, and boating.  Her affiliations include the American Dental Assiciation, the Texas Dental Association, and Dallas County Dental Society.  Dr. Capua is conscious sedation and nitrous oxide certified.

Gene (Registered Dental Assistant)

Gene is an experienced dental assistant in whom Dr. Capua has much confidence. With 20 years of experience to her name, and an Associates’ Degree in Applied Arts and Sciences, she taught for two years at Texas College and has been a part of Dr. Capua’s team since 2000. She has a husband and three children, and when she’s not working can often be found on the soccer field, watching her boys play.

Martha (Dental Hygienist)

A genuinely friendly person who has worked in Dr. Capua’s office since 1993, Martha was born and raised in Texas. She’s a 1984 graduate of Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas with an Associates’ Degree in Dental Hygiene, and has continued in the field ever since. Her hobbies include reading, movies, and watching her two sons play basketball and baseball.

Elaine (Dental Hygienist)

With her eager, trademark smile and gentle manner, Elaine makes any visit to our office a pleasant one. A native of Michigan, she earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Kalamazoo Valley College in 1985 and has been with Dr. Capua since 1995. Married, with two kids, Elaine’s hobbies include photography and scrapbooking.

Melissa (Patient Care Coordinator)

As the one who greets all patients and manages all staff schedules, Melissa’s attention to detail has made her a great asset to Dr. Capua’s practice since 1996. Born and raised in Louisiana, Melissa moved to Coppell in 1995. She has an Associates’ Degree in Computer Science, is married, has one son, and enjoys photography and being with family and friends.

Laurel (Insurance Coordinator)

Laurel’s caring and gentle demeanor makes her a natural choice for assisting patients with concerns regarding insurance or treatment. Born and raised in Texas, Laurel has been a part of Dr. Capua’s team since 1999. She is married, with three kids, and enjoys gardening and antiques in her spare time.
